Paul Doster

Paul Doster, a native of Kirby Arkansas, brings to the table over 20 years of food-service industry experience. He began cooking under the tutelage of his grandmothers, Ruth Doster and Mildred Austin, and his mother, Gayle Doster.

Paul is a 1988 graduate of Kirby High School and a 1995 Graduate of Henderson State University where he studied History and German. Paul has been working as a cook and manager at Gayle’s Family Restaurant in Daisy Arkansas since 1991. He operates the catering arm of the family business as well. His cooking style is down to earth, relaxed southern cuisine. He prefers to keep things clean and simple and not pretentious.

In 1998, he began his wedding cake business. To date, he has baked and decorated over 150 wedding cakes, anniversary cakes, and specialty cakes.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys traveling, photography, and Broadway plays.
